Saint Claude in the Jura Mountains is the birth places of the briar and this Chacom New Star just oozes tradition. This long stemmed, opera pipe features a beautifully rounded billiard bowl. A light brown stain is applied, before being polished into a glossy number. A twin nickel band is added to give this pipe a look of distinction and elegance.  From the length of the mouthpiece and shape of bowl, the whole pipe has a very elegant feel about it.

A full twelve inch churchwarden is just a little too much to clench after a while and this shorter seven inch pipe is ideal during a good book or lazy Sunday afternoon. Even with the shorter stem, these pipes still have the look and feel of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit pipes.
