Merlot Briar
The Merlot Briar range is very similar to the Shadow Briar Range, however the Merlot has a hint of red stain and in certain lights the red stain really shows through, just how it would do in glass of red wine. A perfect pipe to smoke whilst enjoying a glass of red wine!!

A fantastic pipe, at a great price.

First and foremost, this is already one of the best smoking pipes in my collection. Even for the very first smoke, it remained cool, dry (I can tend towards a 'wet smoke'), with a very comfortable bit. It has exceeded expectations, and performed beyond it's cost.
I recommend a GQ pipe to anyone, especially those on a budget. I have tried Corn-Cobs, basket pipes, and budget pipes, both in a bid to be frugal, and to have sufficient pipes to try different blends. Without exception, I find them less comfortable, or they do not smoke as well. I only reach for them because feel I should smoke them, not because I want to.
My GQ pipe smokes as well, if not better, than pipes in my collection costing significantly more, across a broad range of makers. When the time comes, I will add more GQ pipes to my collection without hesitation. I don't think it's hyperbole to say, these are some of the best value pipes I've seen. Thank you.
