A companion to the celebrated Scottish Cake, Scottish Flake takes the same high-quality Virginias, Burley, and Perique but presses them into a firmer, more structured flake. The result is a fuller-bodied expression of the mixture, offering depth and richness while still retaining balance.

In the tin, you’ll find dark, well-pressed flakes with an aroma of sweet hay, earthy cocoa, figs, and a touch of spice. They can be folded and stuffed for a slower, cooler smoke, or rubbed out for easier preparation.

On lighting, the Virginias deliver natural sweetness and bready notes, while the Burley adds nutty, earthy richness. The Perique is more pronounced than in Scottish Cake, bringing darker fruit tones and a peppery tang. Together, they create a satisfying, medium-to-strong smoke that develops steadily and rewards a patient cadence.
