The Cabaiguan No. 54 is a superb example of Tatuaje’s commitment to Cuban-inspired craftsmanship, blending elegance, balance, and depth in every draw. Created by the renowned duo Jaime Garcia and Pete Johnson, the Cabaiguan line takes its name from the Cuban town famous for producing some of the island’s most skilled cigar rollers.

Handmade at the My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua, the No. 54 features a silky, tan Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper grown in mineral-rich volcanic soils. This wrapper is slightly oilier and richer than traditional Connecticut Shade, offering a smoother, creamier character that beautifully complements the Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.

The result is a medium-bodied cigar with refined flavour, excellent construction, and an inviting profile of cream, gentle spice, and subtle sweetness. Its 54-ring gauge and just-over-5½-inch length make for an enjoyable hour-long smoke with consistent balance from start to finish.

An outstanding choice for those who appreciate mellow elegance without sacrificing complexity—perfect for fans of premium Connecticut-wrapped cigars with added richness.
