The Savinelli St. Nicholas 2026 701 combines the elegant proportions of Savinelli's classic Lovat with the distinctive festive styling of the annual St. Nicholas collection. Made in Italy, this seasonal edition is particularly appealing for smokers who prefer a refined, lightweight straight pipe.
The 701 is a traditional Lovat, characterised by its relatively tall Billiard-style bowl, long cylindrical shank and shorter saddle stem. Savinelli notes that the long, slender shank is designed to provide a particularly cool smoke, while the saddle mouthpiece gives the pipe its elegant, elongated profile.
For the 2026 St. Nicholas edition, the briar receives a handsome brown rusticated finish, creating a tactile surface and plenty of visual character. A red acrylic accent band framed by two slim aluminium rings provides the festive detailing and creates an attractive contrast against the darker briar.
Completing the design is a striking pearlescent green acrylic stem, giving the pipe the traditional red-and-green Christmas colour combination that distinguishes the 2026 St. Nicholas collection.
