Genod briar dates back to the 1960s. The briar, particularly Algerian that we use, has been matured at least ten years after extraction, and up to more fifty years old. This explains the exceptional smoothness of their pipes. The 19th century family workshop is the oldest in the city and remains the essential place for visitors who wish to discover the making of
a briar pipe.
