The White Spot Collection is a limited series of shapes replicated from the factory design charts of the 1920's. Originally Alfred Dunhill introduced the white spot on his pipes to indicate the correct way around to fit the mouthpiece following its removal for cleaning. It also became the backing for the White Spot Guarantee to replace a pipe if the bowl cracked or suffered from a burnout. For over 90 years the White Spot has been recognised worldwide as the mark of supreme excellence amongst the fraternity of pipe smokers. The pipe is fitted with a sterling silver band decorated with the White Spot trademark and bears on its stem the original code that in some circumstances feature letters and not numbers.
Arguably the worlds best pipes and definitely the most desirable. Pipes don't get better than Alfred Dunhill's White Spot. Created from the best raw materials available and finished to the highest quality, you can be assured to find no flaws in these pipes they really are perfection. The Alfred Dunhill started in 1912 and with exceptional craftsmanship and quality products soon became the best in the world and to this day nothing changes.
