This sticky and moist Cavendish is mainly black, with an aroma which invites you in. Whereas most Cherry aromatics have a sweet and almost almond aroma to them, this has a bitter dark cherry scent. The tobacco smokes best either a wide bowled pipe, or dried out in a narrower one. Thanks to the stronger base blend, this tobaccos more strength and nicotine compared to most aromatics. The lack of artificially sweet cherry makes for a great aromatic, the notion of “sweet hot air” is not found in this blend. No wonder this is one of Gawith Hoggarths bestselling international blends.

KBC has now become my new favourite go to comfort smoke. Sitting outside in the garden with my family on a summers evening as the sun sets, good book in hand and a nice pipe of KBC is the most enjoyable and relaxing end to the day. So good is the room notes that the wife even allows me to smoke KBC indoors.
