A powerful and full flavoured plug tobacco, which has been popular for Gawith Hoggarth in all forms, for centuries. Made from equal part of Malawi Dark Fired and Indian Dark Air Cured, this tobacco is cold pressed for over a week. The resulting black tobacco has a deep and earthy aroma, with rich and pungent smoky smell. To smoke this tobacco is packed full of nicotine and all the complex flavours you would expect. From the leathery, smoky, cigar like flavours of the fire cured, to the earthy, woody and spice from the dark air cured.
When sold as a block, this tobacco keeps more of the oils in and the tobacco will keep for long and mature faster. To keep the moisture within the plug, only cut off what you want, when you want. This tobacco is also sold in Flake form if you want a quick and easy solution.

Peppery (slightly) Grilled Steak
Full flavoured but not overpowering. The plug form means you can (using a sharp knife) slice this tobacco and fold/break/cut/rub this to your preferred texture. Meaty, steak flavour, with a touch of pepper. Easy to smoke cool, lots of flavour, but not overpowering. One of my favourite summer tobaccos is Kolhase & Kopp Drake...which is a very fruity aromatic, with a touch of tanginess. This is (oddly) one of my winter equivalents.

Dark Plug U/S
Strong, but not overpoweringly so, smooth, slow and cool burning in the pipe. The components of this tobacco truly compliment each other, if you’re looking for a mans tobacco with an honest, no nonsense tobacco flavour, this could be it. In the plug form and kept wrapped, it keeps well for a long time, no worries about rehydration, a little oily to work with but this doesn’t detract from the slow burn quality. This has to be one of my favourite tobacco’s.
