Ghost

The Gurkha Ghost is a sleek and alluring cigar that should make an appearance in anyone's humidor. The Ghost blend showcases a dark Braziian, Arapiraca Maduro wrapper, complemented by an aged Dominican Criollo 98' binder and carefully selected Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Ghost is a rich, medium bodied cigar with a multi layered flavour profile providing sweet and earthy undertones with lingering flavours of cocoa and cinnamon.

In 1887, at the height of the British rule, colonial soldiers began to make their own cigars from the local tobacco. The fondness of the British for these legendary Nepalese fighters inspired them to name their cigars " Gurkhas."

Steeped in legend and history, the Gurkha cigars, created more than a century ago has been reborn and today is one of the most famous brands of luxury cigars in the world. Having extraordinary quality and premium blends of tobacco, Gurkha is known for limited release and rare tobacco products with outstanding and artistically-oriented packaging.

Gurkha is also known as the 'Rolls Royce' of cigars and is enjoyed by many of the world's elite including members of Royalty, Military, leading government officials, and celebrities.

Ghost is a Short cigar but Spooky long excellent smoke

Gurka Ghost Spooky Short Although the Spooky is only 4 inches long it takes ~60 minutes to smoke. A big easy draw with lots of smoke because of the 60 gauge and the carefully packed binder. It is not too loosely packed to stop the ash from holding firm but not too tightly packed to make the draw or relighting difficult. If you are careful the ash holds all the way to the last inch even if you place the Spooky in your ash tray while you have a drink the ash doesn't collapse. The Maduro wrapper provides some sweetness while the smoke does have earthy undertones and cocoa and cinnamon as described by Gurkha. The blend of tobaccos is a very pleasing and almost half price alternative to my favourite Cuban Bolivar Royal Corona. Before I tried the Spooky I was a little concerned about it containing some Nicaraguan tobacco because other large gauge pure Nicaraguan brands I've tried were a cold light smoke but extremely heavy on the nicotine. The blend in the Ghost Spooky is, like the Bolivar, just right for a long full bodied after dinner smoke.
