Concepción are the latest cigars from GQ Tobaccos. We have spent over 12 months developing this exclusive range of cigars. Hand Made in Nicaragua, these cigars offer what we are known best for at GQ Tobaccos, outstanding quality at an exceptional price. The Concepción range has an Equador wrapper with Nicaraguan filler and binder. A medium bodied cigar that is suitable for seasoned smokers as well as those new to the scene. The cigar certainly develops as it is smoked and is a very enjoyable cigar. As you can expect from the skilled Nicaraguan rollers the construction of the cigars is perfect, allowing an easy draw enabling you to fully enjoy all the flavours on offer in this cigar. The cigars are named after Concepción which is an active Volcano in Nicaragua; both Concepción’s definitely give off some smoke! Tasting wise its incredible the different flavours and strength this cigar has in each third, emphasising how excellent Nicaraguan tobacco really is. The Concepción range is currently available in three different sizes; Corona, Robusto and Gordo. All sizes offer a fantastic smoke for a superb price.

Good for price, a nice every day smoke

Posted by Ste on 26th May 2026

I was surprisingly impressed by this cigar. Flavours were nice sweet and creamy. A lovely morning stick with a coffee. It may be the construction or that i smoked this outside, so the breeze may have affected the burn. It needed a few touch ups. The development through each third was really defined and I really enjoyed seeing how much it changed. For £12 for a Toro, ill be getting many more. Might not be the most impressive cigar, but at that price I would be happy to call it a good every day smoke.
