Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 648 Cigar
The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 648 is one of the boldest and most powerful creations from renowned cigar maker Steve Saka. Building upon the much-loved Mi Querida blend, Triqui Traca takes its distinctive Connecticut Broadleaf character and turns up the intensity for a richer, fuller-bodied smoking experience.
The name Triqui Traca comes from Nicaraguan slang for the long strings of oversized firecrackers traditionally ignited during important celebrations. It's a fitting name for a cigar created to deliver considerably more power and intensity than the original Mi Querida.
At its heart remains the rich, earthy character that defines the Mi Querida family, but with some important changes. The cigar is dressed in a rarer Connecticut Broadleaf No. 1 Dark wrapper, while the blend incorporates a particularly powerful ligero tobacco to increase its strength and depth.
The result is an unapologetically full-bodied cigar, bursting with deep flavours of earth, dark chocolate and bitter espresso, alongside the natural sweetness and richness of its dark Broadleaf wrapper. Despite its considerable strength, the blend retains the complexity and balance for which Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust cigars are renowned.
The Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 648 is a cigar created for experienced smokers who enjoy rich, dark and powerful Maduro-style blends. Bold, complex and intensely satisfying, it's an excellent example of Steve Saka's ability to push a blend's strength without sacrificing its underlying character.
