Crowned Heads - Broadway - Robusto Extra - Box of 21 Cigars

Crowned Heads Broadway Robusto Extra Cigar

The Crowned Heads Broadway Robusto Extra Cigar is a rich, medium-to-full-bodied Nicaraguan cigar featuring a premium Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper and a carefully selected blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos. Combining the natural sweetness of Broadleaf tobacco with the distinctive earthy and spicy characteristics of Nicaragua, the Broadway Robusto Extra delivers a wonderfully balanced and complex smoking experience.

Introduced in 2025, the Broadway range takes its inspiration from the famous Broadway entertainment district in Nashville, Tennessee, the home of Crowned Heads. Renowned for its live music, historic bars and vibrant atmosphere, Broadway provides a fitting inspiration for this distinctive cigar collection. The name also pays tribute to the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that plays such an important role in the blend.

Handmade at the NACSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Broadway Robusto Extra features a dark, beautifully textured Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper grown in the United States. Beneath this sits a Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa, surrounding a carefully selected combination of filler tobaccos from three renowned Nicaraguan growing regions: Estelí, Jalapa and Ometepe.

This combination produces an exceptionally flavourful cigar, bringing together the richness and natural sweetness of the Maduro wrapper with the strength, spice and complexity of Nicaraguan tobacco.

Measuring 4¾ inches (121mm) in length with a 52 ring gauge, the Robusto Extra offers a compact yet substantial smoking experience. Its shorter format provides an excellent balance between smoking time and flavour intensity, allowing the blend's rich characteristics to develop throughout the cigar.

The cigar opens with inviting notes of dark chocolate, roasted espresso and cedar, accompanied by warming black pepper and subtle earthy undertones. As the smoke develops, richer flavours of leather, toasted nuts and baking spicesemerge, complemented by hints of molasses and the natural sweetness of the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.

Despite its rich and full-flavoured character, the Broadway Robusto Extra maintains an enjoyable smoothness and balance, making it an appealing choice for enthusiasts who appreciate complex Nicaraguan cigars without overwhelming strength.

Beautifully presented with an ornate burgundy and gold Crowned Heads band, a distinctive Broadway secondary band and a navy-blue ribbon at the foot, the Robusto Extra is an attractive addition to any cigar collection.

With an approximate smoking time of 40–60 minutes, the Crowned Heads Broadway Robusto Extra is an excellent example of the craftsmanship and innovative blending for which Crowned Heads has become renowned.
