Introduced in 2025, the Broadway range takes its inspiration from the famous Broadway entertainment district in Nashville, Tennessee, the home of Crowned Heads. Known for its vibrant music scene, historic bars and lively atmosphere, Broadway provides the inspiration for this distinctive cigar. The name also cleverly references the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper used in the blend.
Handmade at the NACSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Broadway Epicure features a dark, oily, Grade A Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper from the United States. Beneath this sits a Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa, surrounding a carefully selected combination of filler tobaccos from three renowned Nicaraguan growing regions: Estelí, Jalapa and Ometepe.
This combination produces a wonderfully rich and complex smoking experience, bringing together the natural sweetness of Connecticut Broadleaf with the earthy, spicy characteristics of Nicaraguan tobacco.
Measuring 5½ inches in length with a substantial 56 ring gauge, the Epicure is a generously proportioned cigar that allows the blend's flavours to develop gradually throughout the smoke.
The cigar opens with inviting notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and cedar, accompanied by gentle black pepper and earthy undertones. As the smoke progresses, additional layers of leather, toasted nuts and warming baking spicesemerge, balanced by the natural sweetness and richness of the Maduro wrapper.
Despite its full-flavoured character, the Broadway Epicure maintains an enjoyable creaminess and balance, delivering plenty of depth without becoming overly aggressive.
Beautifully presented with an ornate burgundy and gold Crowned Heads band, a distinctive Broadway secondary band and a navy-blue ribbon at the foot, this cigar is as attractive in appearance as it is complex in flavour.
