The Balmoral Puro Nicaragua Petit Robusto FT is a beautifully crafted, medium-bodied Nicaraguan cigar that delivers a rich and complex smoking experience in a compact format. Handmade using carefully selected tobaccos from some of Nicaragua's finest growing regions, this distinctive cigar combines earthy richness, warming spice and a wonderfully smooth, creamy character.
The Balmoral Puro Nicaragua is a true Nicaraguan puro, featuring a beautifully coloured Jalapa wrapper and binder, complemented by a blend of long-filler tobaccos grown in Estelí, Condega and Ometepe. Each region contributes its own distinctive characteristics, with the volcanic soils of Ometepe adding an intriguing depth and spice to the blend.
From the first draw, the Petit Robusto introduces rich notes of earth, roasted coffee and cedar, accompanied by a lively touch of black pepper. As the cigar develops, the initial spice gradually softens, revealing flavours of toasted nuts, dark chocolate and a delicate natural sweetness.
The middle third becomes particularly smooth and creamy, with hints of espresso, leather and gentle woody undertones. Towards the finish, the cigar develops a slightly richer character, with warming spice and deeper earthy notes creating a satisfying conclusion.
Measuring 4¼ inches with a 48 ring gauge, the Petit Robusto offers an enjoyable smoking experience of approximately 40–50 minutes. The cigar is finished with an attractive flag tail cap (FT), adding a distinctive touch to its traditional handmade construction.
