The AVO Expresivo Robusto marks a landmark release for AVO Cigars, becoming the first cigar in the brand's history to be handcrafted in Honduras. Created to commemorate the centenary of founder Avo Uvezian's birth, the Expresivo range embraces a bold new direction while remaining true to the elegance, craftsmanship and balance that have defined AVO for generations.
Built around an exceptional multi-terroir blend, the Expresivo Robusto combines premium tobaccos from three renowned growing regions to create a smoke of remarkable complexity and harmony. Filler leaves from Jalapa, Nicaragua contribute refined floral notes and natural sweetness, while Condega tobacco introduces roasted depth, subtle mineral character and outstanding combustion. The blend is anchored by tobaccos from the Jamastrán Valley in Honduras, adding earthy richness, structured spice and impressive body. A silky Ecuadorian wrapper completes the cigar, providing a smooth, creamy finish and tying the blend together with exceptional balance.
Only the finest higher-priming leaves are selected, chosen for their aromatic intensity, richness and structural integrity. Each tobacco undergoes an individually tailored fermentation process, allowing the distinctive character of every region to shine while creating a beautifully refined smoking experience.
The Robusto format offers the perfect showcase for the blend, delivering approximately 45 to 65 minutes of evolving flavour. The experience begins with rich earthy notes supported by hints of dark chocolate and roasted nuts.
