Saint Claude in the Jura Mountains is the birth places of the briar and this Chacom New Star just oozes tradition. This long stemmed, opera pipe features a canted, cutty bowl. A light brown stain is applied, before being polished into a glossy number. A twin nickel band is added to give this pipe a look of distinction and elegance. From the length of the mouthpiece and shape of bowl, the whole pipe has a eighteenth century, clay pipe feel.
A full twelve inch churchwarden is just a little too much to clench after a while and this shorter seven inch pipe is ideal during a good book or lazy Sunday afternoon. Even with the shorter stem, these pipes still have the look and feel of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit pipes.
The shame shape and size as the colourful Chacom Opera range, which is available upon request.
