A stunning brown leather Montecristo cigar case containing one of each size from the full flavoured Linea 1935 Series: Dumas 5 1/4 by 49, Maltes 6" by 53 and Leyenda 6 1/2" by 55.
Presented in stylish lacquered boxes, each of the 20 cigars within are dressed with a second band denoting the size name and a unique third protecting the foot of the cigar. Each cigar offers a rich blend of signature Montecristo flavours and full bodied aromas making the 1935 series a new unique way to enjoy the most popular premium cigar brand in the world.
The Linea 1935 range are ‘Totalmente a mano con Tripa Larga (Totally by Hand with Long Filler), using the finest wrapper, filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone.
Montecristo is one of the biggest Habanos brands in the UK for those who enjoy a little spice and in their lives. The brand dates back to the 1935 when it was first released as part of the H Upmann range. Initially called “the H. Upmann Montecristo Selection”, it gave the H Upmann factory a stronger and bolder addition to the line. When Hunters cigar importers in the UK, took over the factory it shortened the name and introduced the current Red & Yellow logo.
The brand now sits as one of Cubas biggest brands in regards the size its total output and is highly prized among cigars connoisseurs around the world. With the exception of the “Open Series”, Montecristo cigars are very rich with a woody, leather core to the taste with a spicy side.
