Gawith Hoggarth - Brown (Irish) Twist

This thick, powerful twist tobacco has its roots way back in the European history of smoking. Indian Dark Air Cured Virginia is blended with other strong Virginias to produce a punchy and powerful smoke. Many still chew the thinner Bogie and Pig Tail variations, and while some do chew this thicker variety, its best for smoking. The tobaccos are hand spun into a rope before being slowly heated. This pure Brown Irish has no additional casings and offers a natural smoking experience.

Compared to the black, steamed twists the brown carries a much spicier taste and bigger nicotine hit. If you are looking for a big and bold tobacco which can either be chewed or sliced for the pipe, look to further. Unlike the sweet Pigtails we carry, this has no additional sugars or toppings, leaving a very natural tasting tobacco.
